Home Sweet Home Inspections, LLC is a veteran-owned and operated company that conducts home inspections, radon testing, and sewer inspections across most Iowa. Its services include those within real estate transactions (buying or selling a home), new constructions, and rental properties. Whether single-family homes or multi-units.  

 

In order to provide its customers with outstanding services, the company operates under standardized protocols, a Code of Ethics, and under a solid Quality Assurance Plan. Having this structure in place, it enables for the upmost quality at each service being completed.

Luis Romero is the founder of Home Sweet Home Inspections, LLC. He is a US Army Veteran with over 10 years of service. Following his time in active duty, he then moved to Des Moines, IA in 2006. Which he is proud to call ‘home sweet home’. 

 

Some of the skills that relate to his military background include, but do not limit to: leadership, ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines, emphasis on safety, conforming to rules and structure, flexibility and adaptability, initiative, standard of quality, as well as commitment to excellence.

 

Prior to starting his own business, Luis became mission-ready for this new journey by accomplishing the following: earning an AAS in Architectural and Mechanical Drafting & Design Technologies, working nearly 5 years within the architectural and mechanical fields, mastering his skills within the construction field, becoming certified as a Professional Home Inspector, becoming EPA certified in HVAC-R, and by becoming certified as a Radon Measurement Specialist.
